45 associations in 28 European countries, representing more than 160,000 writers and literary translators working in 32 languages. Full members are writers' and translators' organisations representing either a language (i.e. Academy), or a genre (i.e. fiction, non-fiction, literature for children, script-writing), etc. Associate members can be cultural foundations or organisations within the fields of interest of EWC/FAEE, including collecting societies and collective rights management organisations representing authors only.
