Shri Asoke K. Ghosh receives IPA Champion Award
IFRRO warmly congratulates Shri Asoke K. Ghosh, Chairman Emeritus at the Federation of Indian Publishers and Chairman & Managing Director of PHI Learning Pvt Ltd, on being awarded the inaugural IPA Champion Award at the recent 33rd International Publishers Congress in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In recognizing his contributions, the IPA noted
“Mr Ghosh has worked tirelessly, for many years, in promoting and defending IPA’s values and has decisively contributed to build the association we have today.”

As a proud and longstanding partner of the IPA, IFRRO commends Mr Ghosh on his achievements within the publishing community. IFRRO would also like to note his significant contributions to the development of collective management in India over the years – in addition to his publishing roles, Mr Ghosh is also the Founder-member, ex-Chairman and the Honorary Advisor to IFRRO’s Indian member, the Indian Reprographic Rights Organisation (IRRO).
Founded in 2000, IRRO has continued to advocate on behalf of rightsholders through significant legal and political challenges, and in recent months has made headway in overcoming longstanding issues.
