When these schools make unauthorised copies, SEAM takes them to court. SEAM made a number of important checks in music schools and conservatories this year and elarge its action of prevention in doing a lot of information days in the schools. SEAM do the same with the harmnic orchestras, Bands, choirs.. SEAM proposes, since september 2014, a contract for the reprographic uses in choirs. SEAM collects and distributes fees from a data base of songs texts ("BOEM") that gathers 70 000 English and french titles. SEAM has increased its collection and distribution and continues to prospect for new music schools and conservatories. It continues to work with CFC for the application of the different contracts signed for secondary schools, universities and primary schools. SEAM distributed fees for private copies of graphical musical works made on new medias (CDR, CDRW, MFD, ZIP, DVD, USB key, external hard disc, memory stick etc). The most recent area development is the data base "BOEM" (see before) and also the new contract proposed to choirs. different surveys principally in the universities, secondaries school and primary schools.
